Hi! I’m Jamie! I work at Google in the CoreUX group thinking about developer experiences. My research mostly focuses on how generative AI tools changes the developer and CS education experience. I completed my PhD in Computer Science and Learning Sciences at Northwestern University, working with Professor Eleanor O’Rourke. I studied student motivations and perceptions of their intelligence while learning how to program, focusing on psychology theories like mindset and self-efficacy.
