Bio:
I’m a third-year PhD student in the Learning Sciences program at Georgia State University and a former K–12 computer science teacher. I earned my master’s degree in Computer Science from Shahid Beheshti University in Iran.
My research explores how students experience and respond to failure while learning programming, with the goal of designing learning environments that support persistence, reflection, and deeper learning.
I’m especially fascinated by the power of failure—its complexity, its emotional and biological dimensions, and its potential to transform learning when supported well.
